EN: 19 of October, I can say that I am truly happy and I have everything I ever wished for. It's not much but it's plenty for my soul.

I work to live and I don't live to work. Not many employers would appreciate that position but they must accept it. I am not a sadist and I don't do more than I can take. If I feel tired, I'll go to sleep in the middle of afternoon, if I feel ill, I'll call in sick, if I am frustrated I am not going to pretend and hide my emotions. If I do otherwise I'll harm myself physically and mentally and NO JOB deserves this sacrifice. Put yourself first, your life balance first, your priorities first.

I've been fortunate enough to walk out of jobs when people made them unbearable. And I've been fortunate enough to never look back or question my decisions.

Phew, it's irrelevant to the start of my post but I just had to take it off my chest. It's easy to guess that I am fully happy in on aspect of my life. But after spitting it out here I am happy to realise that whatever I thought was a problem - is literally nothing. Just meaningless and doesn't deserve me thinking about it again :)

So here I am, in London, with my mega supportive husband. We got up really early to give our day a head start, made all my plans to come trues, went to all the planned meetings and appointments ... but mainly we enjoyed each others company <3

Look of the Day: Cadbury

EN: I wrote about Edgbaston Borough in Birmingham before, what a beautiful place to live in! We live outside the city but Katerina wants a house in Edgbaston lol. I had to delicately tell her, that on our current income we can't afford a house in Edbaston, private school for her and family travel few times a year... but she can defiantly get herself one if she chooses to be a Doctor for example :)

Saying this, this beautiful house belong to the founder of Cadbury chocolate, Mr Richard Cadbury. The house is situated in the heart of Edgbaston and the Chocolate Factory itself is not too far either. I've got to say 'thank you' to English Heritage for creating blue plaque badges. I've learnt a lot by noticing them whilst walking around and then doing my own research.

Whilst Katerina is dreaming about a house in a lavish area of the city, I'm dreaming about our next holiday together. The dreamy dress is already part of the plan by the way ;)

Look of the Day: After the Storm

EN: I don't have a valid excuse for not writing any blog posts. I barely live at home at the moment and I'm not really happy about it but that's the way things are at the moment. Sleep for 4 hours, work, repeat.

When I saw this tree in bloom it just reminded me about all my blessings. The owner of the house must be thinking I was a total freak staring at the tree for more than 20 mins. But I felt mesmerised and I just didn't want let that moment go. Mental picture of this beauty in the sun and in the rain is going to stay with me :)

Another thing this tree reminded me of, life is too short. Seriously, this blossom is not going to last for more than 2 weeks. My youth ain't going to last forever either. So 'hooray' to my oversized bow! It's the best thing I got this spring!  

RU: В этом месяце на календаре нет ни одной свободной даты без дел / мероприятий/ встреч / работы ... В такие моменты страшно остановится, что бы передохнуть. А вдруг организм поймет, что он абсолютно истощён и сам решит устроить себе отпуск? 
Но это не помешало мне 20 минут наблюдать за дуновением ветра, падающими лепестками и лучами солнца сквозь только распустившиеся бутоны. Весна, будь к нам добра :) 

Look of the Day: Perfect Summer Dress

EN: I've just found the most perfect summer dress. Blue is my new obsession anyway, but the fabric, cut and design of this dress are an absolute perfection.

I wore this Chicwish dress to travel to Bicester Village, the designer outlet. I can't emphasis enough how fabulous I felt wearing this dress and it really helped me to stay in a great mood all day. 

RU: Идеальное платье на лето найдено :)) Ну и что, что прошло пол лета, ведь лучше поздно, чем никогда? И вообще такой дизайн, крой и цвет вне времени и трендов.
И минутка ностальгии, я стою перед магазином Jimmy Choo в своих Чу, которые покупала именно здесь еще до появления Кати. Вот такими должны быть вещи, не теряющими актуальность, ни через 5, ни через 25 лет.

EN: Paris with my Little One <3

Paris and the Eiffel Tower have been dreams of hers since she was 4. She has started learning French at school and Mummy likes to travel to Paris every year.

So here we are, staying in a hotel just a few minutes away from the Eiffel Tower, walking around Parisien avenues in our matching dresses by Chicwish, eating macaroons and bringing smiles to strangers' faces.

Год назад Катя решила, что очень уж ей хочется в Париж. В подготовишке они начали изучать французский, мама тоже зачастила в этот город, дома лежат красочные книги и открытки с Эйфелевой башней. Ни это ли намёк на путешествие?

Остановились мы в крохотном отеле, но в нескольких минутах ходьбы от этой всемирно-известной красавицы. Гуляли по простым авеню в одинаковых платьях, лакомились макарунс и дарили случайным прохожим улыбки.
