EN: Today is the last day of summer holidays, Katerina is back to school tomorrow! Year 3! Where does the time go?

We've spent the last week in London, visiting museums and enjoying sunny days.

Although I've lost my job during the pandemic , I probably got the best possible outcome in this situation. I've spent all this time with my family which was some sort of a problem before. When Katerina turned 3 I thought I was ready for a full time job and when I got it I've realised how much I miss out on, like spending quality time with her after school, dropping her off on important days, all sorts of school plays and sports days. I got to the point when I was literally crying when my job couldn't approve my leave on day when she had her Christmas play. All these things are in the past now, I moved to part time position and made clear that family matters come first. 

This lockdown blessed me with all the time in the world to spend with Katerina and Gareth. And I think we had the best summer ever! It was a joy to round it up in London, visiting our favourite spots and new exhibitions. We had the sweetest moments in The Ivy Cafe Marylebone and Katerina calling it 'The Best place in town' :) Roses, outdoor seating, strawberry sundae and all things pretty.

EN: Odd holiday week for me in the middle of January. I got a cold followed with chest caught. It's not how I imagined my week to go but it gave me a nice break to stay in bed all day long and watch crap tv shows :) This is what January is made for! To stop rushing around and finally breath out.

I'm a bit excited for this weekend to come. Gareth is looking after my friend's dog. Despite just taking him out for walks I might take some photos with him :)) I think he is a real poser and you are going to love him! Oh and Katerina will be wearing this coat again, no doubts!

RU: Наш организм знает, когда нам нужен перерыв.
Сама проболела, сама устроила себе пастельный режим :) Конфеты, бесполезные сериалы и полная тишина дома. Именно таким мне нравится этот январь, без суеты и спешки.

На этих выходных Гарет присматривает за собакой моей подруги. Да-да, именно Гарет, только он может подойти к этому делу с полной ответственностью. Ну а я воспользуюсь удачным стечением обстоятельств и надеюсь сделаю пару удачных кадров с этим комочком счастья. 

Look of the Day: Snow

EN: Dec 14?! What?! Please tell me you are as shocked as I am. I have no idea where the time went. I just need some time off to wrap all my presents for all my lovely friends and family! I've also being planning to prank my bestie with her Christmas presents, I can't tell you my plan but I can't wait to see her face haha

And how do you like our backdrop with fake snow? :) Second thing I find hard to believe - we had so much snow a year today! All the schools were closed, we were just playing in the snow all day and it felt so much like Christmas!  One thing stayed the same though - it's freezing! 

RU: Абсолютно не понимаю куда уходит время :) Но могу себя заверить, что оно проходит ярко, бурно и весело! На календаре уже 14-ое число, пора завернуть подарки в праздничную бумагу с золотыми бантами!

EN: Paris with my Little One <3

Paris and the Eiffel Tower have been dreams of hers since she was 4. She has started learning French at school and Mummy likes to travel to Paris every year.

So here we are, staying in a hotel just a few minutes away from the Eiffel Tower, walking around Parisien avenues in our matching dresses by Chicwish, eating macaroons and bringing smiles to strangers' faces.

Год назад Катя решила, что очень уж ей хочется в Париж. В подготовишке они начали изучать французский, мама тоже зачастила в этот город, дома лежат красочные книги и открытки с Эйфелевой башней. Ни это ли намёк на путешествие?

Остановились мы в крохотном отеле, но в нескольких минутах ходьбы от этой всемирно-известной красавицы. Гуляли по простым авеню в одинаковых платьях, лакомились макарунс и дарили случайным прохожим улыбки. 

Family Look : Swan Lake

EN: The biggest surprise for Katerina was a visit to Palais Garnier - the Opera House in Paris. She is fascinated by ballet at the moment and she loves rewatching the animated film - Ballerina. As you guessed, the key character in the cartoon dreams of becoming a ballerina and makes her way to Paris. And, of course, she ends up in a Ballet School (Palais Garnier) where all the magic happens! Quite fittingly I got Katerina a dress with two gorgeous swans. It represents my favourite ballet of all time - Swan Lake.

Little Goodall has the same dress in pink and with Flamingos!!!

RU: После Диснейлэнда мы специально оставили один день день для Парижа. Есть у Кати один любый мультфильм "Балерина". Действие разворачивается в Париже в балетной Школе, туда мы и повели Катю. А в качестве наряда я символично выбрала платье с двумя белыми лебедями в честь моего любимого балета - Лебединое Озеро.

Кстати у Little Goodall есть такое же платье в розовом цвете, но с фламинго. Я долго не могла выбрать между двух!
